Driver pick us up at 11.20 am. We went to the ferry but then turned around only to arrive in our accomodation again (1 hour later) to pick up other people. Another guy in our bus had the same, he was even longer in the bus (almost 2 hours, poor him). Please organize the pick ups better. The drive to Krabi bus station was okay but not comfortable. We switched to other transport from there. First the car was 5 minutes later, then 10 min but in the end 20 minutes later. This car went deeper inside Krabi and not to Ao Nang, lady from the office told the driver Ao Nang. This driver stopped at a bus station in Krabi and told us 10 minutes. Our patience was gone by now so we ordered a grab taxi. The driver then said 'We go now'. In the end we arrived in Ao Nang but the driver took the wrong turn and dropped us of in the wrong street. This whole trip took us 5 hours while you can be there in 3 hours.

I did Ko Lanta hotel transfer to Ao Nang transfer and the trip was very efficient. I was picked up at 11:20am and dropped at my hotel at 15:00 (i.e. half an hour later vs the initial time scheduled of 14:30). Comfortable van, we stay in the same van which takes a ferry to cross between Ko Lanta and Krabi. Once in Krabi town they asked me to move to a taxi which would take me to Ao Nang, I was a bit confused at first but the transfer was very smooth.

A very big delay, in 12 go Asia was written that we will be in Ao Nang in 3 h 15 min. We will at place in 5 h 15 min…… Bus was very dirty and we don’t have place for legs.

Overall the mini bus was very comfortable compared to to other minibuses I’ve been in, we had 60L and 30L back packs which they accommodated in the back, the driver was 40 minutes early before pick up time so make sure you are ready with plenty of time. Our driver was also very efficient at driving and had good time, honestly didn’t feel like you were in a van for long. Once we got into Krabi they drop you off at a 12Go shop which you then change minibus to get dropped off at your hotel, this was about a 10-15minute wait till the next driver came.
