Pick up was timely, but with normal vehicle, spent one hour driving around Hanoi before transfering to “luxury bus”, which had nice comfortable seats. Once arrivied to Ninh Binh, ee had to change vehicle again, for final distribution and had to pay extra 100K vnd for drop off at hotel where we were staying, no matter in was 300m away from another stop.

Was very unclear what time we were being picked up and then once we were collected we drove for 30min then stopped for the driver to have a smoke, he then said it was going to be an hour before we started driving again. Also, Selected to be dropped to the Trang A boat station but we stopped about 20min outside of Trang An with no instruction of switching to a new van. When we asked to be taken to Trang An we were told we would have to pay again. Ended up getting a Grab.

Besides asking for the pickup hotel location, there was no other communication. No response when asking if drop off could be made to specific hotel, no response when bus was late to pick up. Also no indication that there would be three buses involved, the highway portion used a "luxury" coach (weak AC, no USB power), while the first and last mile used old minivans, also having to plead for air. Arrived after scheduled time due to late pickup and transfers. From reviews of other companies, this is probably best you can hope for.

It was in walking distance from old quarter, good to find. They gave you a little bag with water and cookies. Ist was really on time, online 1h30, comfortable seats.
