Eden AThe bus actually arrived 3 hours earlier than it stated it would, which normally would be a good thing but instead of arriving in Phong Nha at 6am we arrived at 3am! And we left a little late from Hanoi!
Otherwise the beds were comfy enough to sleep and I did manage to get more because fortunately where we stayed let us check in early (cherish guesthouse).

Lisa JDue to the constant honking and breaking it was not possible to get some rest as one doesn't feel safe. The bus was on time. Booking was easy.

Elsie RLack of communication, bus was not at pick up point. The company did organise a taxi to the next bus however I was not communicated with by the company or the drivers. The bus smelt like cigarette's and had mould growing on the inner roof.

Elena MIt was crazy cold, and the fans in the cabin were broken, so I couldn’t turn them off. I was handed a 2nd blanked. Left with a sore throat and was sick. The bus was 2 hours late.

Felix BUpon arrival at the pick up station, no one spoke english and unfortunately the staff was not very eager to help.
We felt rather lost at the place which also did not seem very professionell.
At some point we were send to the wrong bus and had to figure out on our own which bus was ours.
They were confused with out luggage - a destination tag was not provided, we wrote one ourselfes- and waited until the very end to load it into the bus.
Since we stayed with the luggage we got yelled at by the bus driver to board the bus.
About 30 Min into the journey someone came up to us and demanded, what we think was payment. Since the person did not speak english it was hard to figure out. After some back and forth he got called back by the driver.
Lastly, we arrived 2 hours early, which would be ok during the day but in the middle of the night at 4am, again, this was rather unpleasant.

July GDespite being given the wrong address and having to rush to catch the bus, the overall experience turned out to be quite positive. The bus itself was clean and comfortable, which made the ride pleasant. The driving was about as smooth as one can expect given the typical road conditions and traffic patterns in Vietnam—it wasn’t perfect, but it was manageable.
We left right on schedule, which was a nice surprise. However, we ended up arriving two hours earlier than planned. While punctuality is usually appreciated, in this case, it was a bit inconvenient since we had to adjust our plans on the spot and wait around longer than expected. Still, the journey was decent overall, and we appreciated the effort to stay on time.
