Very bad the transfer in Gili Air from the small ferry to the big one it’s the dangerous experience in our life the motor was broken fells 200% unsafe but the big ferry is good unless too cold because of the air conditions. Really good - efficient boat boarding, eveything well organized (although journey took quite long despite ok conditions), the shuttle from Padang bai to ubud ended up being a regular taxi organised by staff which was awesome (it was a ceremony day which I imagine affected this). Really good experience overall

The trip from the hotel to the ferry by van was great, punctual and everything was fine, then we arrived at the point where we boarded the boat and all the staff is very friendly and nice, there is good air conditioning with four air conditioning, you can get on the top area if you want to smoke and listen to music and drink, I recommend it 100% and the trip seemed short, as it is a speedboat with four engines and still can not fly. 1.5 hour late and then the boat broke down for an hour in the middle of the trip. Boat was overbooked so there were 20+ people standing for 3 hours from gilinair to Padang Bai Bali. Boats AC barely worked and the boat has no windows. Thermostat said 31 the whole time. When we got to Bali all the Ostina Transport people were lying and saying the trip takes 4 hours and you need to take a taxi. Ignore everyone just sit in the free van and eventually they will give up and take you. Driver refused to drop people off at their hotels and only stopped at central Ubud Shuttle bus also had no AC. 2 stars because we didn't crash and they were able to fix the boat.

The trip going there was fine but coming back home the driver kept arguing that he is not dropping us at our guest houses which it clearly stated on the ticket- coming from a long boat trip you do not want any back and forth like that
