First they want us to take another bus (transfer time to the bus station 1,5 hrs) or we should pay more for our tickets. When I wanted to cancel perhaps everything was fine. Then they told us the wrong pickup point, so we waited 1 hr at the wrong point (the bus was also delayed), so we had to drive again to another pick up point, where we had to wait again 20 min. The condition of the bus was okay, but it smelled very humid. So in total it was a worse experience. Please note, that we travel a lot trough SOA, so it’s not our first bus ride in Vietnam but the worst we had so far.

Bus driver/staff was super rude and didn't even respond to polite enquiries and rather ignore you. After 3/4=4 hours of the journey there was the first break. The place was more like a farm than a service station without any facilities, shops or anything. We stopped for 45 minutes because the driver was chatting to his mates. Which resulted in us being too late at our destination. To call this bus a VIP bus is actually a joke. The seat adjustments were all defect, there was no way to stow even a small bag so that you spend the whole journey with your bag crammed into the already far too narrow cabin. For people over 1.65cm it was impossible to lie stretched out in the cabin anyway... There was no water, the blankets on offer were absolutely disgusting, smelled and stained.
