Zsolt FReceived a message about our night bus that it will leave 45 minutes earlier than expected, which we were quite happy about, the sleeper bus itself is also nice and relatively cozy. We even had toilet on board. Since we didn’t have any stop and there was not much traffic, we arrived 2 hours early. It was 03:30, instead of 05:30, so we had to book an extra night in a hotel. I would have enjoyed the extra time during daytime, but nothing to complain about.

Ceri JThe bus was great - spacious & comfortable beds & had a toilet at the back too.
Sadly the conductor was very rude & aggressive verbally - shouted at us & other customers when trying to find their beds but it was not obvious which beds we had to be on.
Also our arrival time was late - think this was because the bus was transporting supplies - think they were bags of rice. Took ages for them to load the bags onto the bus.

Lucia After all suitable train tickets from Da Nang to Dong Hoi were sold out, I didn't want to take a bus, so I started thinking about which taxi service to choose for our trip directly to Phong Nha. My top priority was safety and the attitude of the driver/agency. Mango Travel turned out to be the most budget-friendly option, and after reading reviews on TripAdvisor, I decided to go with this travel agency, it was a great choice!
Our driver, Hieu, didn't speak English, but we communicated effortlessly using Google Translate. He was very friendly, attentive, and drove safely, arriving on time and getting us to our destination on schedule. He even took a slightly longer route at no extra charge so we could see Hai Van Pass, which made me really happy since we hadn't had time to visit it before. He also suggested additional stops for great photo opportunities, but since my partner was recovering from heatstroke, we preferred to continue our journey.
We could stop anytime for bathroom breaks, and we even paused at a roadside stall to enjoy fresh coconut juice. The car was clean and spacious, and the ride included complimentary water, fresh bananas, rice snacks, and coconut treats.
The whole trip took about six hours, but since the car was comfortable and we curiously observed the beauty of Vietnam (or simply dozed off 😄), the journey flew by before we even realized it. Overall, I would rate the trip 5 stars, and I've already contacted them for another ride :)

Christina SThe driver and crew kept pulling over to smoke and go the bathroom, therefore the trip took longer than scheduled. They did not inform us of anything going on including if WIFI was available or where the provided water was. The vehicle was not clean and was not the same as the photos that were provided during booking. The stops they did make for us to use the toilet had dirty facilities and were not nice at all. It was very hard to sleep with the driver constantly honking the horn and hitting the brakes. Very disappointing trip.
