Ferry from Coron to Manila

Crossing the sea between Coron to Manila is also pretty straightforward. You can choose from one of 2Go's accommodation onboard their vessel St Augustine of Hippo that sails for Manila every Thursday and Sunday at 4.30 pm. Travel time usually spans between 12 to 15 hours.

Note! 2GO sails from Coron to Manila on THURSDAY and SUNDAY.

If you are on a budget and don't mind sleeping in a non-airconditioned area, you can book a bed in their Super Value Class for PHP1400. If you want something budget friendly but air-conditioned, you can get a bunk bed for PHP1900. These tickets include a meal but you pretty much have to pay for everything else like your blanket and sheets or if you want your meal served by the staff.

If you have a bit more to spare, you can book either the Cabin for 6 or Cabin for 4 for only PHP2800 per pax.

There are onboard amenities and facilities such as a spa, salon, charging stations, cafes, and karaoke. There's a small convenience store too but everything is expensive as can be expected so better bring your own pack of instant noodles or bottled water if you want to save.

Also, don't forget to bring a shawl or jacket as it can be chilly at night.

If for some reason, you were unable to secure a ticket from 2Go, you can try sailing with Atienza Shipping Lines. It sails once a week from Coron to Manila every Saturday at 6 pm. Tickets should cost PHP1200 for a non air-conditioned accommodation and PHP1300 for the air-conditioned area. There isn't a lot of information online to confirm if these are the latest price and schedule though so we suggest you check with their office to verify.

Flights from Bususanga ariport to Manila

As of this time, there are two airlines offering direct flights between Coron and Manila.

The most attractive option would be to fly via the boutique airline, Skyjet. They have really competitive rates and the adds-on are hard to beat. You can book one of their daily flights for just about PHP2,700-PHP3,200 one way per person that comes with a free 15-kilogram baggage allowance plus an extra 10-kilogram for check-in baggage. Anything in excess of that will cost you PHP150 per kilo.

Alternatively, you can book your flight with the popular budget airline, Cebu Pacific. Year-round fares typically range between PHP3,500 and PHP5,700 per pax with add-ons such as baggage allowance, meal, and insurance available. They normally do this on national holidays so you can check their official website from time to time or better yet, follow their social networking accounts.

Lastly, the country's flagship carrier, Philippine Airlines, can also bring you back from Coron to Manila but with a layover in Cebu. Total flight duration is about 2 hours and 45 minutes and tickets cost between PHP5,400 and PHP12400 per pax.

Coron to Manila Destination Reviews

SO
The trip is actually 24 hours so be cautious about booking any flights for the same day

I don't know where to start.... It's a ~55$ ride in a 30 to 40 bunk bed Hostel dorm which excludes blankets and sheets😂 ( 60 Pesos extra). the toilets are smelly like the ones you know from the central station from 1999. And there are only 4 toilets for 800 Men. Normally I'm. Okay with budget travelling like worse then this but not for this price... If it cost around 15$ bucks yeah fine. There are TVs in your rooms which are noisy as fuck, so we turned them off but at the end you have the lights which stays on the whole night... The food which is included is horrible dry and cold rice, scrumbbeld egg pieces and some goat balls? Last point is just nonsense but good to know, you won't be able to go into the harbour without going to a random 2GO store and pay 50 peso to print the ticket on a piece of paper🙄 after that you'll get charged another 20 Peso "Terminal Fee" and sometimes a "Bad looking Fee" cause you're exhausted from organising everything for the "Philippino Rules" to get just to Manila. The last one was a joke but, hey thumbs up Philippines youre coming close to Germans nonsense fees and taxing system. This is for the tourist class, so I recommend to book at least a 4 cabin or just take an airplane, if you book them. Early the price are cheap.

The 2go ferries are awesome, the size, looks presentable, it's a pleasure to sail on one. There is a coffee shop, karaoke, canteen, store, hairdresser. I like the ferries of this company very much. The ferry to Manila was delayed for 9 hours, which of course is no good

extremely dirty and unfunctional toilets, dirty mattresses, no bedsheets even in business class, very poor and bland food…

Have to pay for updates / emails is ridiculous, you should pay extra for luxuries not basic things! Turning up at 12AM for the ferry at 2 to be told it’s delayed until 8 AM, had to pay for taxis. Actually comfy beds in super tourist class, most staff were nice and they had a show on the night, bedding and food provided. One member of staff was kissing his lips and staring at a little girl which was very disturbing. Hope they do background checks.

The bathrooms were really dirty. No evacuation of the smell and the flush did not worked. Also, only 20% of the sinks were working. Service was great though for the restaurant. No chargers in the bedrooms
