How to get from Coron to Manila
Getting out of Coron to Manila is just as easy as getting in. The distance between Coron and Manila is approximately 440 kilometres via Tagaytay–Nasugbu Hwy and you have several choices to cover it – either by air or by sea. There are direct and non-direct flights bound for Manila with the former lasting only about an hour and tickets prices at about PHP4200 on average. Crossing the sea can take anywhere between 12 and 15 hours and tickets cost around PHP2,000.

Crossing the sea between Coron to Manila is also pretty straightforward. You can choose from one of 2Go's accommodation onboard their vessel St Augustine of Hippo that sails for Manila every Thursday and Sunday at 4.30 pm. Travel time usually spans between 12 to 15 hours.

If you are on a budget and don't mind sleeping in a non-airconditioned area, you can book a bed in their Super Value Class for PHP1400. If you want something budget friendly but air-conditioned, you can get a bunk bed for PHP1900. These tickets include a meal but you pretty much have to pay for everything else like your blanket and sheets or if you want your meal served by the staff.
If you have a bit more to spare, you can book either the Cabin for 6 or Cabin for 4 for only PHP2800 per pax.
There are onboard amenities and facilities such as a spa, salon, charging stations, cafes, and karaoke. There's a small convenience store too but everything is expensive as can be expected so better bring your own pack of instant noodles or bottled water if you want to save.
Also, don't forget to bring a shawl or jacket as it can be chilly at night.
If for some reason, you were unable to secure a ticket from 2Go, you can try sailing with Atienza Shipping Lines. It sails once a week from Coron to Manila every Saturday at 6 pm. Tickets should cost PHP1200 for a non air-conditioned accommodation and PHP1300 for the air-conditioned area. There isn't a lot of information online to confirm if these are the latest price and schedule though so we suggest you check with their office to verify.
Flights from Bususanga ariport to Manila
As of this time, there are two airlines offering direct flights between Coron and Manila.
The most attractive option would be to fly via the boutique airline, Skyjet. They have really competitive rates and the adds-on are hard to beat. You can book one of their daily flights for just about PHP2,700-PHP3,200 one way per person that comes with a free 15-kilogram baggage allowance plus an extra 10-kilogram for check-in baggage. Anything in excess of that will cost you PHP150 per kilo.
Alternatively, you can book your flight with the popular budget airline, Cebu Pacific. Year-round fares typically range between PHP3,500 and PHP5,700 per pax with add-ons such as baggage allowance, meal, and insurance available. With advanced planning, you might be able to score hugely discounted tickets when they run their frequent seat sales. They normally do this on national holidays so you can check their official website from time to time or better yet, follow their social networking accounts.
Lastly, the country's flagship carrier, Philippine Airlines, can also bring you back from Coron to Manila but with a layover in Cebu. Total flight duration is about 2 hours and 45 minutes and tickets cost between PHP5,400 and PHP12400 per pax.
