It was also very difficult to understand the staff over the loudspeaker (through no fault of her own), so passengers had no clear idea of what was happening. There were electronic signs, but they weren’t working. If the same boats depart at the same times every day, there should be large, clearly visible manual signs that can be updated, so passengers aren’t left confused and constantly asking, “Is this our boat?”

The boats are very unsafe and crammed! Lede jackets need to be made mandatory to wear. The boat even stopped in the middle of the ocean and then maybe they used the spare engine. Overall the boat is just too small for so many people and they follow 0 safety Norms

booked ticket for 16:00 but there was no trip scheduled for 16:00 in the end, only 16:30 which actually departed 16:45. Advice to come 1 hour before departure for check-in made us wait in the deck almost 2 hours (could have enjoyed the end of my trip in some nicer place instead, if informed that my actual booked departure time is moved). The boat had small seats, each row was supposed to fit 3 people (not comfortable for 3 adults sitting next to each other, especially if strangers)

The space in between seat rows is really small. No space for your legs. A bit narrow.

All was good, enjoyed the ride. Life wears were provided for everyone! Also, it was a newer boat with comfortable seats (8 per row). The boat I took another time also from The Angkal was older (6 seats per row) and less comfortable, still ok though. Generally, they don’t provide much information about boarding. You just wait and get up when everyone else gets up. They are usually on time or just a little late what you anyway have to expect.
