Bangkok to Koh Samet Destination Reviews

MT
I booked the bus with departure time 10am. When I arrived to ekkamai station the lady at the counter said there is no bus and the first bus will leave at 1:30 pm. For 3 and a half hour it was delayed . We already booked the hotel and everything . So we had no choice but to go with 1:30 bus. I booked the one with bus+ speed boat option . Guess what . When I reached to the pier even though it’s not our fault that the bus arrived late , the people at the pier said we cannot go unless we pay 600 for one person .They kept saying because we arrived at 6.30 pm and not much people left to go . Me and my friend together had to give 1200 baht . Since we arrived late at the beach there was nothing much to do except having dinner . We wasted our time and money . Now I know this booking is not reliable.

Before we could board the bus, we had to pay extra for our suitcases. No paiment; no trip. Our voucher indicated that we could take 1 suitcase each (4 persons) with us. No limitations This is not what we expected.

We had to pay extra for two of our suitcases because the lady at the counter estimated that they weighed more than 10 kg, whereas our voucher allowed for one suitcase weighing less than 20 kg each. We showed them what was written in black and white, but nothing happened. We had to pay! This is not correct from this company.

We booked a connection departing at 12:00 from Ekkamai. We arrived in advance at 10:00. But the woman there told us that the bus is full and we have to wait until 14:00. What? We booked our seats online in advance. How is it even possible that you sell more tickets for a connection than how many people can actually fit in. We payed at your website and the price was about 100 baht higher then if we bought it at the station. So if I pay a higher price I expect also higher service. Not to wait for a connection which departures 150 minutes later than what I booked. Yes we departed at 14:30 even though we booked a connection at 12:00.
