It took 12 hours to travel instead of 8 hours, the bus made a detour first to Hardivare and then to Rishikesh. When the original route should have been to Rishikesh and then to Hardivare. It would have been better to take the train.

The pickup location was unclear, the phone number on the ticket didn't help. Only when eventually an hour before departure my taxi driver called he was able to find out the right location. This was way too late, since I was already on my way, but luckily I had an okay English speaking, very friendly and helpful taxi driver.

Too cold in the bus ; the air-conditioned was on. The curtain was one curtain for the top bed and the seat below. The person on top can decide to open or close the curtain whatever he/she likes, even night time for sleeping

The driver took two hours to leave Agra once the bus was full, stopping numerous times just to get Chai. When the bus did start moving, the driver started playing Indian drum and bass music which kept us awake for most of the night. One of the assistants to the driver was very angry and rude and it took a lot of mental strength not to argue with him about how assertive and aggressive he was. We got to our location after being transferred into a TukTuk an hour away from Rishikesh. No other alternative transport was available. The bed however was pretty comfy and the curtain did make it private. Very little space for bags.
