The trip was very nice, including border and visa process regarding entering laos as german tourist couple. Service personel was very friendly in thailand and laos. No problems at all. Great experience. Bookings process is great.

The driver and vehicle were great. However, they Thai immigration did not allow us to exit. We had to go back to udon for the night and fly to Laos. They say Indian passport is not allowed to exit land border. I was disappointed that RG adventure could not resolve this. Also no way to get support from 12Go. This detour cost me over $1000 and I lost a day.

I was a little nervous about traveling to Laos solo. The drivers were very helpful as was the woman st the office. She helped translate, and offered to have them drop me at my hotel rather than the train station. The driver on the Lao side helped me get through customs/immigration. It was above and beyond what I expected.
