Booked Twice with this company, never again, no way of contacting the company and then they don’t even turn up for your transfers so you are just giving them free money! The train tickets worked fine and was no issue all though you would be a lot better off financially buying the tickets from the station yourself or online on the train website direct, RG Adventures had zero contact information, the numbers provided on the PDF confirmation didn’t even exsist, one was no longer a number and the other I’m still waiting to get a reply from a week later, also the transfer that we booked and paid for didn’t even show resulting in us having to pay extra for a taxi. Overall do not use RG Adventure, you will be a lot better off avoiding them

Very smooth and calm transition into the train Would be good to have more details about the areoles permitted in advance Many suitcases left in the entrance hall of the train and could be a hazard when on wheels during transit

My train ticket BW4233235 from Luang Prabang to Vientiane on 16/11 at 11:50 was sold out. Your team texted me and suggested to change to later train but we have to take Flight from Vientiane to Ho Chi Minh at 6:30pm. Therefore we ask tor cancellation and refund but there is no confirmation from 12Go officially. The support team reply too slow and didn’t pick up the phone, poor service. How is our booking and refund?

Road it self was great, comfortable. But for some reason for me and my wife were purchased tickets in different couches. And I understand if there was no place in my couch but it was completely empty.

Travel company rang me a few days previous to check my booking and sent me a pdf via email. A woman met us at the booking office in Vientiane to give us our tickets (the next time we already had our tickets via QR code which was easier). The stations are like airports and have security (no aerosols!)- boarding begins 20 minutes before and there are big queues. However, it was overall a very easy and smooth experience for us.

The train ride itself was good, but the service before needs improvement. I wrote one day before the journey for final confirmation. It took some time to get a reply. We did not received a ticket for the train we originally booked. This is ok. However, I think without asking for final confirmation for the tickets, we would not have received the tickets

It was smooth. Train check-in is straight forward and doesn't take more than few minutes. Getting to train station 1-2 is not necessary, just 30 minutes before departure time is enough. The train staff is disciplined and precise. City center to train station is 30-45 minutes drive. Train itself is clean and comfortable.
