Alexander BTrip on night ferry from Koh Tao at 21:00, show ticket at boat. Arrive at about 05:00, hustle off boat and find Future Travel company. Minivan to nearby depot. Rest stop with breakfast and drink availability. Minivan on to Khao Sok, arrive at 08:45. Boat had sleeping berths, not very comfortable, not enough space for my 180 cm height. Air conditioned. Transfer to Khao Sok was confusing but ultimately managed well. Gentleman at rest stop was kind and helpful. Ride to Khao Sok was bumpy. Arrived a bit late, too late to go on overnight lake trip that day. Overall, got what I paid for, can't complain.

Leesha AFerry wasn‘t that comfy. Nobody said that the ferry is 7 hours.
The guy who picked us up at Surat Thani didn‘t tell us why we had to leave the van after 10 minutes and then we had to wait 20 minutes that he came back and we drove to Khao Sok.

Stacey MThe bus was good, then there was a car with our name waiting for us, that was good too. The bus was very slow… we stopped so many times to pick up and drop off people and things. We turned around several times and dropped more things and picked more things up. What should have taken about 1 hour 15 mins took 2.5 hours.

Katherine Ferry was great! The van afterwards was terrible. Very late arriving and the driver was very unhelpful and frequently stopped the van for no reason. Also refused to drive us to our final location and we ended up having to get a staff member at a resort to help us get to our next connection.

Matthijs VThe night ferry was comfortable, and we managed to get some rest. However, the van transfer that followed was a very unpleasant experience due to the driver’s behavior. His attitude and mannerisms made us feel as though we were on a prisoner transport—he was unpolite, extremely directive, and failed to provide any information about the journey. Throughout the ride, he snapped curtly at passengers whenever they asked questions or needed assistance. About ten minutes into the ride, we were abruptly told to get out and were herded into a building with no explanation. There was no communication about how long we would be waiting, what the next steps were, or how passengers with different destinations would be handled. When I asked the driver for clarification, he reacted with anger.
