There was big delay, not enough seats. Transfer to bus that was not pre informed and smelled like pee. Also the check in place is very far from the pier

I booked the Lomprayah ferry specifically because the 12Go website stated it would arrive at Tapee Pier in Surat Thani city center. I was willing to pay the higher price to avoid the long bus ride from Don Sak Pier. However, the ferry still arrived at Don Sak Pier, and we were then put on a bus to Tapee Pier. From there, we had to arrange yet another transfer by minivan or Bolt to reach the city. This resulted in more transit steps and unnecessary hassle, which completely defeated the purpose of paying extra for a supposedly direct service. The information on the website was misleading and caused inconvenience and extra expense. Other companies provide direct transfers to the city without this needless stop, so I expected better from Lomprayah.

The ferry didn't go to the Tapee Pier, it went to the Donsak pier and from there we were put in a coach for a bus ride of 60+ minutes from Donsak to Tapee.....

You didn't go to train station first. Took too long and went away from train station to airport even though the train station was closer.

The ferry check in at Koh Phangan was quick, just scan QR code and enter the gate to board. Plenty of seats inside and out. Inside the cab seats were decent in terms of comfort, the air conditioning was great in some areas and lacking in others. Mini mart on board had everything like 7-11 which was nice. There are lots of spots on around the ferry to enjoy the views. Foot massage was also available on board. We left 30 minutes late and then had to wait seaside at Donsak Pier while another ferry de-boarded, loaded and took sail. All in all ended up about an hour late on Seatran, no fault of Phantip. Phantip had busses ready to transport at the pier. They were well organized and efficient. They even allow passengers 10 minutes to make purchases at Pier market and food stands. The bus ride to Surat Thani was good, a comfortable ride on board. Great air conditioning temperature. We took 75 minutes to arrive at Phantip office in Surat Thani Town. Overall it was a good trip and I would book again. Highly recommended!

I booked to go directly to pier in Surat Thani but instead the boat went to Donsak and they put my on bus to the the other pier and didn't inform me at all during checkin.
