Rachel LWe left about and hour after the scheduled departure time. Luckily I had read previous reviews and prepared for this. They really know how to cram a lot of people onto one pier and into one boat. There was so many people on the pier at one time that the middle of the pier fell in. It should probably be a little more stable. A bit dangerous, but was also kinda humorous!
The staff was friendly and got us where we needed to be.

Markus SIt all worked out, but it was an hour late and thus a big mess at the port. From Ko Lanta you can go better with the mini van to Krabi. Also costs less than half and can be booked locally in the hotels.

We had booked to be taken from Koh Lanta to the Ao Mao nam pure, but when we dropped off passengers at another pier, they told us we had to get out, though no one had told us this when we booked the ticket or checked in. We sat in an over packed car and passed our hotel to drop off everyone else before we could be taken where we needed to go.
