Check in at Lomprayah Bangkok (Khaosan Road) the buss was comfortable (decent toilet considering it’s on a buss) and I would have slept the entire way there is they didn’t make a 30min stop turning on all the lights and waking us up, so do bring a really good sleep mask and earplugs because that stop was completely useless. We arrived at the ferry terminal and had time to eat and even take a quick shower. No complaints about the ferry!

Really good service and smooth journey. Bus was surprisingly really comfortable! Only loses a star as I did think the 2am wake up for a food stop was unnecessary on an overnight bus

Check in was very confusing. Their office in Bangkok is tiny and there were 3 bus loads of people trying to check in around the same time. They ask you to check in an hr before. Leave luggage. Come back 15mins before departure to wait for boarding bus. But after the initial confusion the transfer was really smooth. They gave adequate instructions in English. Got to Koh Tao half an hour later than scheduled timing. I got the express bus, wasn't sure of comfort, but for me it was ok. They gave us a clean blanket and bottle of water.

I had previously chosen seats in the middle of the bus and we ended up in the last row at the back without a window. Lunch was the smallest McDonald's burger, and it was served to us after 2 PM. On top of all that, the toilets were absolutely filthy and no break to compensate for the fact that we couldn't go. And finally, we were 1 hour late arriving in Bangkok.

it’s a good way to get to Koh Tao. We booked the VIP package. We were almost on time I think we left 20 min later which is totally fine. The staff was really unfriendly and partly a little rough even. The snack box contained a small juice package and a muffin, which was fine. The bus was pretty old and a lot of stuff was broken. I for example could lift the foot part of the chair. But the seats recline really far that the position to sleep in is decent. The ride to the ferry was quite good and smooth. On the pier we had to wait for 2 hours which was aweful when you haven’t slept on the bus, otherwise I think it’s ok.. but there were some other buses that came 20 min earlier before the ferry departed, I guess that’s a little nicer (too me). Over all it was an average experience.
