Bali to Nusa Penida Destination Reviews

BM
The shuttle service was good although half an hour earlier which is fine because they informed me to be ready earlier. The ferry trip was a bit chaotic and very uncomfortable. The boat feels like a can packed with people. We were also at least 30min delayed. However we arrived and you can’t expect a perfect ride and most comfortable ferry for that price.

The vendor reached out via WhatsApp and provided all necessary information. The organization prior to the boarding and the ride were smooth. Would recommend! :)

The driver supposed to pick us up around 17:30 but no one showed up or even texted me. I tried to call the company but no one answered either. I had to wait for 30 minutes before the company called me back and sent another driver. The new driver was driving another group, so he put both of us on 1 passenger seat up front. We had to sit like that for like an hour. We were late for our plan and didn’t even have a proper seat.

We were able to take an earlier boat since we got there an hour early as advised on our ticket/booking. No one has manners, they herd on and off the boat like cattle. No one waits their turn, and staff do not organize or help this as they’re too busy rushing you on and off and tossing bags. Ride was a not 20 minutes, more like 40. Comfortable seats and the boat cuts right through the waves, little to no motion sickness for me which was a nice change! :)

We arrived early at the port and could take the boat early (1:15 instead of 2:00). Takes around 30 mins and not 15 as mentioned but it’s alright. You have to pay 25k per person on arrival (tax fee to enter Nusa Penida).
