Julien C2 vans transfer that wasn't explicitly told. No informations about when pause, how much time... And the worst : the bus place was very bad : a non-folding seat, impossible to sleep in a "night bus", no seat belt, shaky driving, no functional socket for charging the phone...
Oh and I almost forget : almost 2 hours late for the pickup, without having been warned !

Daniel MTerrible organisation. No one answered the hotline. No instructions on where to wait or who to speak to. Could have easily gotten left behind

Kevin T1hour and 45 minutes late and didn’t answer until 5 calls later. I also paid extra for a ticket with food included but I had to pay for that myself anyways.

Daniel PThe transfer vehicle was late by 1.5 hours. There was no communication at all on any point of the journey. The night bus was in no way what I would call a VIP sleeper bus - incredibly uncomfortable. Food and drink was not provided and there wasn't any WiFi

Alejandro CFrom Koh lanta to Bangkok. You take a couple of vans, and then you arrive to the main bus. We used the VIP bus and it was comfortable. Overall good experience.

Aoife MThe pick up was great. Minivan found our hostel and driver was helpful. The large coach was not so great and smelt of urine

Michel It would be necessary to specify the exact destination of each transfer so that we can make an informed choice. For example, transfer by van (x seats) from (name of hotel, guesthouse, or bungalow) to Krabi town via ferry, transfer by van from Krabi town to Surat Thani, Surat Thani to Bangkok by bus (type of bus). Furthermore, the bus dropped us off a long way from Khao San Road, which was the final destination. Fortunately, I know the city well and was able to get back to my hotel without too much trouble at 5:30 am...it's stressful not knowing in advance where the van or bus is going...many unexpected stops without explanation...

Patrycja We booked a trip from Koh Lanta to Bangkok starting at 12:30pm at Lanta Transport Office and with a planned arrival in Bgk at 6am.
We first got onto a van from Lanta to Krabi Bus Station where we had to wait for 1,5h to change into a bigger bus. We then travelled for a few hours to somewhere in Chumpon where we changed again (after waiting an hour) into a VIP sleeper bus. I think it was the more expensive option, but definitely worth it as the seats were very comfortable. We arrived an hour earlier in Bagkok, so at 5:00am. The whole experience was quite ok, not as bad as we were anticipating. The only few points for you to be aware of: 1)the changeovers between buses etc was quite chaotic with different people were saying different things 2) it would be nice to be told of the fact that you'd be changing means of transport twice, not once. Apart from that it was quite ok, but I strongly suggest you go for the more comfortable/expensive option of the VIP bus.
