Sebastian HWe got a whatsapp massage that there is only a bus available 1 hour early compared to what we booked and that there is an extra fee of 50.000/person. For that we got picked up and droped off at our Hotels. So all in all it was fine...

Mateusz PThe driver was half hour late. We were asked to give our drop off location so the driver could leave us on the way, but he drove us all the way to Halong and left us without any word. We had to take taxi and drove about 10 km back.

Knaan The overall experience was weird, first off the FIRST car picked me up 20 minutes late. He then drove about 15 minutes and parked under an overpass, we sat there for a good few minutes. From there he opened the door and ushered me out with no real reason or explanation as to where I would go. From there I was pointed to walk up the street and board a large van, and while I was trying to board this van the seats were all completely laid back and I had to carefully slide past a woman sleeping in the seat at an uncomfortably close distance from her. From there I thought it was smooth sailing to the port but no… The driver pulled over and started speaking Vietnamese to which I cannot speak (which is my fault). Then all of the woman on the bus were speaking and ushering me to get up and leave the van, and so I did. I walked down the block to find an office for the company of my transport and waited a couple minutes to get a minivan lift to the port. It wasn’t a bad experience, but rather a interesting story to tell.
