Paid but didn't make it on time. Lesson learned is: if you take the bus and take a taxi to Giant Ibis ,into town, go at least two hours in advance. The traffic is immense and you will be too late........

I booked for the journey Bangkok to Siem Reap and this includes transferring to another bus once we crossed the border at Poi Pet. From Bangkok, it was a van departing from the Pratunam Market Area and it was quite comfortable. The staff there was really helpful. During the border-crossing, we were given tag to hang on our neck as this will be used by agent from the other side to identify us. It was a little bit chaos once we completed the border crossing procedure because there were a lot of people but the agent managed to locate all of us. He is very kind, friendly and good manner. He explained to us that since we arrived earlier, (as there were not that too many people crossing the border at that time; otherwise the crossing procedure take longer time to finish) we still had 2 hours to go before the next bus journey, and this time it would be the sleeper bus. For the 2 hours while waiting, we were gathered at their office and it was quite cozy to have some rest as they provides bunk beds to lay down, ample chairs to sit and many sockets to recharge the phone. Passengers can also take showers and beside the office, there is a small restaurant selling local foods at the left and a money exchanger on the right. Quite convenient. The next journey was the sleeper bus and it was really pleasant, I enjoyed it a lot. It arrived on time in Siem Reap and I truly had memorable experience with the whole journey. Thank you so much.

Chloe was an excellent host; visas were easily sorted at the border as I did not have an e-visa prior and we went through the border control quickly. Bus was very comfortable!

The minibus journey from Bangkok to Poipet was very good, however, my experience at the border was very stressful. I got separated from my group because the leader walked way too fast and I could not manage to keep up with all my luggage. I am a senior. I had to work my way through the process without any instruction. When I got through, I got scammed by a Sim seller who sold me a Sim Card that I thought was for a month for US$10, but after payment was told it was for one week and then the next day it expired and a request was sent to me for a top-up. It was for one day!!! A disappointing welcome to Cambodia. The bus journey from Poipet to Siem Reap was good. I think it would be beneficial for the bus company to be more aware of anyone on the bus that may need more help and also to advise everyone not to purchase Sim Cards at the Border unless from a reputable company. Also, it would be helpful for the bus company to give each passenger a list of instructions for crossing the border in the event that they should get separated from the group.

The bus is very comfortable - enough leg space, with blankets and complementary food. The driver was careful in driving also. You can sleep. The helpdesk and guide was very accommodating ang helpful too. However, we needed to change vehicles since there was a technical issue. The car was smaller. We also arrived Siem Reap safely. Also, at the border, it's best that guides mention that the meet up place is on the side of the oval (map at the back of the VIP ID), we were almost scammed since a stranger led us to the place and was asking for tip. No uniform personnel took us from the other side of immigration as mentioned since I think paperworks are busy at the station, Overall, I am satisfied. Thank you.
