Bus departed over 1hr late. We arrived 45 mins before departure, so waited nearly 2hrs. Bus company were transporting a lot of parcels/cargo and we had to wait whilst they transferred them between buses. Try not to take any hand luggage as there is no room for it and makes the journey more uncomfortable.

We took a bus from Ho Chi Minh to Phan Thiet and it was excellent. We departed on time at 12pm, the first half an hour on a smaller bus to the bus station and then 3 hours on a Luxury bus which was the most comfortable bus we ever tried. You can lie down almost completely horizontal and either watch movies or sleep like a baby. They provide WiFi, water, blanket, AC and pillow. For the record, we booked this through 12GoAsia and we didnt get our PDF voucher, so decided to go physically to the agency and they told us that the 11am bus was overbooked so they moved us to the next bus at 12pm free of charge. It was a small issue that they swiftly resolved for us, and for that we are thankful.
