We booked the high-speed ferry from Koh Phangan to Khao Sok, which was scheduled to depart at 11:00. When we arrived at the check-in desk, we were surprised to find out that our booking had been cancelled without any proper notice. The only message we had received was from a staff member saying that we had to take another ferry 30 minutes later because the original one was supposedly full. At the check-in desk, we were told that tickets for the original ferry were still being sold, while our confirmed booking had been cancelled. We were assured that taking the later, low-speed ferry would still get us to Khao Sok at the same time as originally planned. Unfortunately, this was completely untrue. The ferry was overcrowded, with no seats available inside, so we were forced to sit outside in the rain for most of the journey. We eventually arrived 2.5 hours later than scheduled, which caused us to miss another excursion we had already planned in Khao Sok. The staff member promised that we would receive a refund because of the inconvenience, but we have still not received it. We would appreciate it if this refund were processed as promised. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience due to poor communication, overcrowding, broken promises, and the lack of follow-up regarding the promised refund
