Right on time and highly recommend VIP bus for extra comfort. I don’t usually sleep on transport but did the whole way. Staff are friendly and helpful too.

Overall, a good experience considering how long we were travelling but I would’ve preferred not to be woken up by the harsh lights and the driver telling us to leave the bus when it was an optional break and I was sleeping. Also, if there was a safe bag drop at the pier, that would’ve made the 90 minutes there better.

There were no information about any details of the journey, how long we do drive an where to. Inside the bus it was much to cold and the clime was very loud. People were friendly.

Great experience! I was worried about the way it can be organised but everything was so smooth and well organised. We travelled from Bangkok to Koh Tao. Get a VIP bus with AC, extra treat on the bus (juice and muffin) and water. Recklining seats with blanket. Toilet is there too (clean and everything supplied, but fine standard) When came to the ferry we were well informed where and what time should come to the line awaiting fot boarding. All staff were very helpful. Highly recommend. Toilet on bus station and ferry port and ferry

Considering I went for the cheap option, bus was quite comfy. I was lucky to get a pair of chairs to myself with nobody behind so was able to recline and catch some sleep. Blankets provided. Air conditioned. Express ferry departed on time and was able to enjoy the deck during the trip. Well coordinated with stickers from Bangkok. Bus departed alnost 1 hour late but didn't matter, still arrived at Chumphon pier in plenty of time to get a drink and breakfast before the ferry.
