We booked a night sleeper bus that didn't arrive and we were notified 2 hours after departure time.
Our bus delayed to the next morning and effected our all plan trip.

Hyun HRoad conditions are very poor and I recommend to take pills for motion sickness if you are not good at it. They even dropped me off at hotel that I didn’t expect.

Bronte ASapa to Ha Giang. Was surprised considering the google reviews, but the bus ran very smoothly, stopped twice in the 6 hour journey for a toilet break, and dropped everyone at their accomodation. Driver was very safe and drove appropriately to the conditions. 5 stars!

Romain SOverall good, even though the departure was confusing and almost 1 hour later than planned.
The driving was quite fast.
Main issue was that I was sitting above the left back wheel and whenever the bus was taking a turn, I could hear the wheel touching the floor just below my feet, which was quite scary. I hope it will be fixed.

Paying a "Luxury Van" at the end was a local bus with a bit better seats - I don't have problems generally with local buses or frequent stops collecting local people, it's more interesting and environmentally more sustainable - but then charge me local prices. Driver was quite rude, stopping a lot for getting food, talking with his mobile phone, smoking... finally we got out before reaching last station and walking to our hotel. Couldn't stay longer in that Bus.

Simon Cheap transfer and I think there are not many options, but I was the only passenger and I couldn’t sleep because the driver went incredibly fast on the curved mountain roads with a lot of bumps. So don’t expect too much rest if you take the night bus.
