We wanted to go out at the bus station near our hotel, the driver said no, even. If we showed him the map.
Then he dropped boxes in different places and wanted to drop us at a wrong hotel, he got nervous, a bit angry and told us to go out… we had to discuss and stay with him with a gps to finally go to our hotel …
He was probably bad with the mistake he made but he was not nice at all, did not say goodbye, was angry. Usually we have no problem, but with him we were really surprised

Ian SWell to start with, we were ordered around like prisoners, most of us laughed it off but it was terribly rude!
The road was very windy and the driver seemed oblivious that he had passengers, driving quite radically. Our chairs were broken and we could not sit up so we were thrown around the cabins like sacks of potatoes!
He then hit something, breaking his side mirror. Due to this we stopped and parked in the middle of the road for about 20 minutes while they walked around scratching their heads.
We did however think it amazing that in the next town there was a ladder and sticky tape waiting on the side of the road to fix the mirror.
All in all we are not going to use that company again.
Not our first sleeper bus experience.

Maria FWe booked a one-way ticket with a scheduled departure at 8:30 PM and an expected arrival at 5:30 AM. However, the company contacted us via WhatsApp informing us that we would be picked up at 6:00 PM, allegedly because they needed to pick up other passengers along the way.
I expressed my concern, as being picked up more than two hours early seemed excessive, and I had planned my trip around arriving at the destination at 5:30 AM, not earlier. The company reassured us that everything was fine and that we would arrive on time.
Despite this, we ended up arriving two hours early, in the middle of the night, under heavy rain, and without accommodation, as we had not booked anything for that time. As a result, we were forced to pay for an extra night at a hotel unexpectedly.
We believe this situation was caused by poor planning on the company’s part, and we are requesting compensation for the additional expenses and inconvenience caused.

Daniel BThe main issue with this bus ride from Sa Pa to Ha Giang was, unfortunately, the staff. While the 11 AM departure time was convenient and the bus itself was clean and comfortable, it’s hard to relax when the crew is kind of noisy. The co-driver was sometimes watching TikTok videos, taking phone calls, and chatting with the driver in a way that felt louder than necessary. In a sleeper bus, it should be obvious that passengers are looking for some quiet (although my bud was during day time, but still). Unfortunately, this is pretty much the same with any other bus company in Vietnam.
Other than that, the bus was well-equipped, and there was even a USB-C port, though it didn’t charge my MacBook Air (30W), so maybe it wasn’t real Power Delivery. Despite some traffic, we arrived on time, and they dropped us off directly at our hostel in Ha Giang, which was a nice touch.
Still, for a service-based company, the lack of consideration for the passenger experience is only Vietnam average.
Update: They contacted me and apologized for the inconvenience of the louder staff members. I took another ride from Ha Giang to Hanoi with them a few days after and the bus ride was very enjoyable, no loud staff members. So I'm hoping that they communicate this with their staff better that the base requirement should be that they are as quiet as possible during the bus ride.
