Stephanie WWe wanted to travel from Gili Trawangan to Canggu as quickly as possible and booked this offer from 12GO, as the journey was supposed to take less than 3 hours.
First, our speedboat departed 40 minutes later than planned. Instead of heading straight to Bali, we stopped at Gili Meno, Gili Air, Lombok, and only then continued on to Bali. The boat ride alone already took 3 hours.
We quickly found our shuttle and set off with five other people. The bus was comfortable, which was honestly the best part of the whole transfer.
Since we had already been traveling for 3 hours, we assumed we were heading straight to Canggu. Instead, we went south to Kuta and Uluwatu first, and only afterwards to Canggu. The car ride took a total of 5.5 hours 🤬. We had too little to drink and nothing to eat because we weren’t expecting such a long trip, and the driver would have gone the entire way without stopping.
We couldn’t take it anymore and after 4 hours, we demanded a stop at McDonald’s. After a total of 8.5 hours, we finally arrived at the hotel completely exhausted.
I strongly advise against using this transfer!!

Scott WDespite it being a very rocky trip due to size of boat and adverse weather. The trip was as good as it could be expected. The person on board was very quick to hand out anti sickness tablets. Sick bags and things to aid potential sickness. The trip was very difficult but was made as easy as it could be by the workers on board.

Lautaro NLocation for the check-in office in Gilli T wasn’t correct in the booking PDF. We went to 2 different spots before reaching the correct guy. After dealing with different random guys that offer theirselves to lead us to the office seeking for a tip we finally found it. Luckily we did all this without being in a hurry. Gili T and Padang Bai harbor experiences are chaotics.

Elin EThe boat trip was good. Though it was much later than I thought. My ticket said 14:30, the worker said 15:00 and the boat didn't get to the pier until 15:15. I do however understand that boat schedules don't always work out and that there are hiccups that will occur. The boat itself was clean and comfortable. If I had only booked the boat trip it would've been rated good. However I booked a hotel transfer and on my ticket it said that the whole thing should've taken about 4-5 hours which I was fine with. When I got to the pier the driver was waiting for me and helped me with my bags which was great. However then he and 2 other men proceeded to talk me into booking another taxi because if I had continued with the service I already booked it would take me about 4 hours on top of the 4-5 hours to get to my hotel. I wasn't sure because I already booked but they said it would benefit me much more and there was alot of roadblocks because of some ceremony. They said I would pay 2.200.000 Indonesian rupiah for the trip but then they charged me 3.000.000 Indonesian rupiah and I didn't see it until I got a notification on my phone and the car was already leaving. I think this is just very unprofessional and mean! If I book something, no matter what it is, it should cost the agreed amount of money and take the agreed amount of time. I don't think it's okay!
