Changed from a smaller to a bigger fast boat. Eka jaya was supposedly the best. Big ship but big queue, waiting and last seating places. Better be early and enjoy outside deck. Rough sea. Did not feel safe but just because former crossings were smoother.

Very bad experience. We arrived 4 hours later than agreed, a lack of respect. The boat trip arrives in Padang Bai and from there a shared transport (11 people) to the hotel. The only good thing was our driver Ajud, who attended to all our needs and thanks to him we didn't arrive 6 hours late.

Don’t book unless you want to waste a full day. The boat service is ok but the transfer was horrendous. What was supposed to take us a 2 hour taxi was a 5 hour shuttle bus. The first stop was 3 hours away and only 15 minutes from our villa and instead of dropping us off next the driver took us 45 minutes away and we was the last to be dropped off. Book for the ferry but get your own private taxi / grab to your accommodation.

Late boat, big waves + what should have been 1.5 hrs was 2.5hr trip last hr was nothing but getting smashed by waves.... maybe ok for locals I guess but felt dangerous at times
