The bus crashed into a truck and SUV, it appeared to be the truck drivers fault, and after being hit they waited a minute or so and then sped off. However, before this I felt our driver was driving quite erratically and faster than felt safe, the bus also didn’t sound very good and cut out at one point and jolted a lot. After the crash we got off the bus and waited by the side of the road, everyone was ok, but a bit shaken, we got back on the bus and were driven to the police station where we waited outside for maybe an hour, I know it would have been hard for the driver to communicate with us but we weren’t told much at all and had no clue how long we would be there. A couple of other green buses came and a handful of passengers got on~ but there was no organisation with this~ it was basically whoever ran to the bus first…when there were older people, people with children and some of us going greater distances…it’s a shame people became very self focused. We eventually were driven to another bus and got to CM after 4pm . I had missed my connecting bus to Pai and got a new ticket , I’ve been having trouble contacting 12go to get some form of refund for missing my original bus to Pai.

Very very dangerous driving between Chiang Rai to Chiang Mai. 160kph around bends, overtakes around blind corners etc. Do not recommend at all. Book the GreenBus instead, it may take slightly longer but you will live to see another day.

I know the AC has to be on and cold, since I took some travels before. but this one was freezing and the windows was still foggy. the driver did not knew what he was doing. Other then that it was good.

All of my bus experiences have been really wonderful but this,ride was really wild! The service of the bus,driver and everyone involved was excellent as always. Its justca,very bumpy ride so just be ready. It was actually kind of fun.
