Chiang Mai Bus Terminal 3 to Mochit Destination Reviews

CM
Seats were ok, a little over used, so shifting about a bit. Rain itself went quite well. Enjoyed the stop at some small village along the way. Great for the locals to sell there food etc. There was some bangin' noise goin' on which was annoying but nobody complained, so probably normal

Our experience booking through 12Go was really good, from booking to ticket pick up, all went smoothly (although I did miss the confirmation email as it went to my spam folder, so make sure you check there). Our trip was also very smooth, we booked a first class cabin on the number 14 train (supposedly one of the older ones) and it was fine. Nothing luxurious but it was spacious enough to sit comfortably for the first couple of hours while we looked out the window during the daylight hours. The staff came around to ask if we'd like to order food which we needed cash for, there were limited options and they weren't amazing but it's a train service so didn't expect too much. After dinner the staff came to make our beds (one above and one below like bunks), providing sheets and blankets which was nice as the aircon was a little cold. Sleep came in bursts with the bumping and noise of the train, but for what it was it was relatively comfortable. All in all it was a fun experience that we'd probably do again, the time went quickly. Would definitely suggest taking some snacks and drinks and a movie with you and making a night of it.

The train is quite late uncomfortable to sleep on and lights didn't go off as well as it just feeling so slow and long due to it often stopping. Wouldn't reccomend

We were a bit apprehensive about travelling by the overnight train but everything was absolutely fine, including picking up the tickets from the Bossotel across the road. We managed to get 8 berths for 2 families together. We all slept amd managed to get off at the airport which we didnt realise was one of the stops. Would absolutely book with 12go again and travel by overnight train again

It rained through the roof right onto me. The vehicke was ice cold but the blankets seemed to be cut in half so it couldn't cover me entirely. Otherwise ok. If you ate meat, there was even a hot meal for you. (non for me, sadly) Free water was available.

I loved the experience. Met really nice people. It was like a community of travelers who were courteous and helpful with one another. The conductors were thorough as the bed was prepared and everything was just easy. The bed was comfortable and clean. A great way to travel.
