Excellent service, communicative staff kept us informed each step of the journey, bus was clean and comfortable, with a bottle of water and snack provided. Dropped right outside our hostel at our destination.

Good experience. We did transfer from Hanoi to Cat Ba Island so bus/ferry/bus. All vehicles pretty clean and reasonably comfortable. Operators organised and professional and we were dropped close to our hotel which was nice. Only thing is we left Hanoi early by 15 mins so would advise getting to pick up point at least 45 mins prior to leaving just incase.

Nice staff. Bus + ferry + bus was on time, everything was pretty fluent. Be prepared to carry the bags between the vehicles. Seats in the buses were kind of narrow, but it works for such a short trip. All good and pretty cheap for the good result.

The overall experience could be 4 to 5 stars, but the lack of communication prevented that. Another negative point was on Cat Ba Island. The guide cancelled our hotel drop-off because he confounded us with another guest. Can happen, but shouldn't happen that you are lying to guests by saying the bus can't go there because it is a one way road. As an excuse he wanted to book an electric cart for us, but we ended on the back of a scooter with our luggage.

We got a piece of sweet bread and a small bottle of water, which we appreciated in this enormous heat. The bus was comfortable and well airconditioned. The only negative thing was that one cannot go to toilet anywhere during the 2+ hour trip.
