There was some confusion when I arrived at the Donsak ferry terminal. Phantip weren't really expecting me - I was the only person booked to travel to the train station. After a few panicked glances they arranged a work around and I arrived at the train station 30 minutes later than scheduled.
It all worked, and the staff were excellent, but not quite as smooth as it could have been,
I have been given a voucher for the meal, but where this was supposed to be used? In the ferry? On the bus? In-between? Guys, as an advice, you only need to speak at least a basic english, nothing else. Everyone says that is difficult to communicate and informations aren't clear.
I give it 3 stars only because of the experience and the price. Being able to travel such a long distance for such a small price is really a bargain, but it does come with its disadvantages. Overall, I think it’s a really good option if you are on a tight budget or you just want to experience an authentic Thai journey. But, if you think that traveling at night will be nice because you’ll be able to sleep, I wouldn’t choose the third class. Would not do it again but glad I did it.
The Taxi driver was writing on his phone while driving and didnt pay attention to the traffic which Was really not cool since he even drove in s-lines during this.
