Linda MThe speedboat was fantastic- the crew was polite and organized. The arrival into Koh Lipe to have our passports stamped for our exit was explained. We did spend about 1 1/2 hours on Koh Lipe though. We decided to make Lemonade so we had lunch and a few drinks on the beach. Then we took the slow ferry to Langkawi. We specifically booked the speedboat which advertised a trip of about 4 hours. (Yes, we saw the other options that included the ferry - we didn’t want those.) The trip took over 7 hours - the ferry was comfortable, but we were hoping to spend the afternoon on Langkawi, not the ferry. The border station for arrival was also a bit slow - although we’ve experienced slower. We left Koh Lanta at 10:30 AM and didn’t arrive at our hotel in Langkawi until almost 8 PM. Not what we thought we paid for. Oh well - my advice - break up the trip with at least one night on Koh Lipe. It’s a nice little island. Then continue on to Langkawi in a day or two. Perhaps you’ll actually get the speedboat!

Jeremy MSpeed boat ride was a little bumpy, but good fun & a quick way to get from Ko Lanta to Koh Lipe. Bit of a delay waiting to board the ferry in Lipe, but all ok & good overall journey
