When I arrived at the terminal in Trang, the lady tried to scam me into paying her a high sum for a taxi to my hotel once we arrived on the island, saying it was inaccessible due to a cave next to it…totally false. Then, the 2hr trip was easily 3 hrs due to frequent stops to pick up and drop various people and supplies, aircon didn’t work and the unfriendly driver wouldn’t let us open windows. Just a poor experience overall. We arrived and no one died, so I guess that’s something to be grateful for.

Bus was fine but they drop tourists off in a different place to locals (no choice to stay on), which is not the bus station as advertised, 85 means they have you have to pay for an overpriced tuktuk.
