Singapore to Kuala Lumpur Destination Reviews

AH
We were scheduled to arrive at 6pm, only to arrive 3h later than scheduled. The custom was horrible, only 1 stop for break and toilet visit during the whole trip.

Bus was approximately 1.5h late and we were not updated of the delay. Furthermore, we were dropped off at a different destination rather than the one specified in our ticket and had to arrange additional transport to the hotel. Driving was good.

The coach was late and took 7hrs was not VIP as advertised it also dropped us off about 30 mins outside of KL centre and the driver only told us this when we arrived at the coach station outside of KL.

It was heavily delayed. They informed me of a delay from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. only the night before the departure day. The bus was very old, the seats were uncomfortable, and the seatbelts were broken. It took me 7 hours to get to Malaysia. I do not recommend this bus.

The bus was delayed at the pick-up zone. I had messaged the provided WhatsApp and got a very minimal reply; no notice about the delayed arrival. However, other passengers nearby has received a much more detailed message including the expected late arrival. Not sure why this wasn't communicated to me also. Had one driver and bus until the border crossing, and a second driver/bus afterwards. Both busses were comfortable and clean. Both drivers were polite and spoke excellent English. Cannot fault them at all. The journey took longer than advertised, but after reading reviews I expected this. The one major letdown however, is that we ended our journey at the bus terminal on the outskirts of KL. When I booked the journey, the drop off was advertised as Bukit Bintang (city centre). When I queried the driver if it was the last stop, he seemed as confused as me, and told me only that he'd been instructed to go there and he wasn't sure what was happening. He went away to investigate only to come back and let me know that this was our final stop. He seemed also surprised by this. Was pretty frustrating as I was then faced with paying for a Grab or traveling for another hour on public transport with changes (late at night) to get to my hostel. Ended up paying for a Grab but that's additional cost that should have been covered by the bus service. In summary, the drivers were great and informative, drive was smooth, but the operation in general was poorly organised and the arrival at the wrong terminal was deeply frustrating.

Overall the trip was fine and the seats are comfortable. But the trip took 7 hours instead of 5 because there was a lot of traffic at some points and also i think the driver was slow. The driver was talking the whole journey veery loud and that was annoying.
