The bus was about eight hours late and there were cockroaches. Other than that it was fine and I would still choose it again.

There were cockroaches in the bus. Whenever the bus stopped for a while, a bunch of small cockroaches would come out. It was very disgusting and the driver was smoking while driving, then what is the use of a smoking room in the bus. They did not have a baggage storage area we had to stuff our bags under the seat or below our legs making the whole experience a very big inconvenience.

We took the night bus from Malang to Denpasar. Estimated arrival: 06:00 AM - in reality we arrived at 09:00 AM !!! Other than being 3 hours late, the bus was dirty and we saw some cockroaches and a butterfly who were living inside the bus. The driver was pretty bad and drove against all rules. We couldn’t sleep at all - mostly because of the bad driving and the extremity cold AC. The only positive things were that we arrived and got snacks plus a free dinner but that’s about.

Communication with provider is bad. They do not reply to the contact numbers provided. It was not clear when booking that the transport is a minibus and that you have to arrange with them pick up and drop off points. Take into account that they do not speak english and you may need help to communicate (if you manage to find a different telephone o contact line). We managed to get the number of the driver and our hosts at Malang helped us to communicate. Arrival at pick up point was 2 hs late, you have to have faith they'll arrive. There is little space in the minibus for @12 hs trip. During the trip the driver will do a couple stops to use the toilet and also to have dinner. Dinner is included in the ticket price. If you're claustrophobic crossing with the ferry closed in the minibus without space to open a door could be a problem. In general we arrived safely to our destination, but would had been good to jave all this info before the trip.
