Laura There was a woman on the regular ferry from Phuket to Koh Lanta who told us that if we booked a taxi with her, the pickup would be free.
We contacted her in advance by text, and the pickup went smoothly. We also informed her that we had already booked our ferry tickets online (we had screenshots available if needed). However, upon arrival, the woman started yelling at us, asking who had picked us up, and began lying in an attempt to force us to book the ferry tickets through her so she could earn a commission. As part of this, she falsely claimed that the pickup was not free, despite clearly having told us beforehand that it was.
Because we do not speak the local language, the situation felt intimidating and threatening. She claimed that we could not board the boat and that we had to pay extra, among other things.
We were forced to wait around 20 minutes before someone else finally confirmed that we were, in fact, allowed to board the boat we had already paid for.
Fortunately, the woman behind the desk was kind and helpful, which resolved the situation. Overall, I would not want someone like this selling tickets for my company. In addition to our own experience, I also witnessed her grabbing another tourist by the wrist to pressure them into making a purchase, despite the tourist repeatedly asking her to let go. Her behavior was extremely rude and inappropriate.
This made the whole experience rather poor.

Benjamin BQuite chaotic circumstances at the Pier of Koh Lanta. 30“ minutes delay. Smell of diesel and very crowded in the boat. Too high price for such a poor service. But: we came from A to B.

Aline PThe expected arrival was at 3 p.m. in Koh jum. I arrived after 5 p.m., they changed my car twice and I kept taking several laps. Besides, they picked me up earlier at 11am at the hotel so what was supposed to be 3 hours of travel turned into 6h

Alistair JAll very well organised and pretty much on time, just make sure you whatsapp them as per their instruction.
Only things to improve is that our Lanta bungalows - "just come bungalows" aren't on the dropdown list for the pick up, and the boat AC seemed far too strong, was freezing in there! You can go outside though given it's not a speedboat, hurrah!
