Kampot to Koh Rong Destination Reviews

AW
The bus was on time. The bus driver often overtook traffic. Unfortunately, we were told in Sihanoukville that we wouldn't be able to catch a ferry for an hour and a half later.

We left an hour late (1 not 12) but still made the 3pm ferry. Road surface is very bumpy but that’s not the bus company’s fault. However, the vehicle was more of a people carrier car than a minibus.

The road from Kampot to the place where you board the ferry to Koh Rong is a very bumpy road. Changed mini vans once, journey was okay, got there in one piece with all my luggage so I guess it was fine

Please take the train. The road is in a very bad condition. It took 3 hours to get to Sihanoukville. The driver was real good.
