Well we just got the train ticket from 12go. The train itself didn’t have bagage space for large suitcases at 2nd class fan. Luckily we sat in front so they could stand before us. Every minute whole trip salespeople came by shouting. Funny but bit extreme if you ask me. And in the hall way it was nice to see people sitting for hours on the ground so I gave them our tickets as we got of at Hua Hin and it was payed until Surat thani.

I ordered some overnight sleeper tickets for the train journey from Bangkok to Surat Thani. I was worried about the possibility of this being some sort of dodgy place, but I'm pleased to say they were excellent. We were able to pick our tickets up without any issue (Remember your passport or other proof of ID) and had no trouble getting the train.

I wasn’t sleeping because in the upper bunk the light is right next to you and the curtain that is supposed to block the light didn’t go all the way up to the ceiling

The beds on the train were okay, but the noise from the old train carriage was very loud and rattled everywhere, no comparison to the MRT in Bangkok
