Booked a speedboat with Green Planet from Ao Nang to Ko Yao Yai. We arrived at the pier 20min prior to departure and a guy started shouting at us that we were to late, that the boat already took off and we have to be there 30min before departure (which was stated no where). We already panicked but then it turned out that he was only joking. He did this with everyone who was on the boat. He might just wanted to be funny but this went way over a joke since he played so long along with it and shouted at us in front of all others. Boat arrived earlier than planned, everyone got on. I think getting in the boat can be challenging for elderly people because there are no steps. You literally climb on the boat. The guys carried our luggage on board which was nice. We were also offered a free water at the start of the ride. The motor can be really loud, so ear plugs could be recommended. We would travel again with Green Planet.
