Poorly organised transfers, meaning earlier ferry was missed. Had to book a ticket for my 7month old and then hopefully claim a refund - keep getting automated reply from the company.

It was easy to found them from the station only problem I was the only one early arrival I had to wait till 8am almost 3 hours to pick up more customers and than it wasn't on time to catch ferry to Ko Pha-ngan so I had to wait another 2 hours at the harbour.

It was overall good. But we departed 1 hour later than indicated. We had to wait in their office/restaurant. But there was no pressure to order something from restaurant so it was okay, if you are not in hurry.

I appreciate that they were able to be flexible when our train was delayed, but things were a bit hectic and confusing and they could do a better job communicating where you should be waiting, what time your vehicle will be arriving, and which vehicle is going where. They first sent us to Surat Thani town and had us switch busses but didn't explain they would be doing this at all. When we finally got to the ferry dock they didn't explain where to go and everything had to be figured out for ourselves.

I wasn't really expecting this trip to be easy, however, after arriving at 5am at the train station from Bangkok we were greeted by a friendly lady from Phantip who somehow knew that we had booked with them! She brought us over to their shop across the street where we waited for a couple hours and had the chance to eat and drink. Then their van escorted us to their office, where we got our ferry tickets, and from there it was a ~1 hour coach ride to Donsak pier where we left to get to Koh Phangan. Smooth boat ride, absolutely nothing to complain about.

We missed our first bus and they let us get on another one 3 hours later for free, and the ferry was fine too. Normal and straightforward. Let us keep our bags at the place while we got food.

Not a nice drive from the station to the ferry terminal. The driver drove extremely fast, it was stressful and seemed unnecessarily dangerous. If the timing was too tight please chanfe your schedule - we waited in surat thani for an hour before we were picked up!
