I had a very disappointing experience on the Bangkok–Kanchanaburi route. The PDF confirmation stated that check-in was required by 4:30 PM, but due to heavy traffic in Bangkok we arrived around 4:45 PM. When we got there, the bus was already full even though we had booked and paid in advance. At the counter we discovered we needed to check in again to receive a physical ticket, and the company had overbooked and resold our seats. With no English spoken at the desk, it took 15 minutes of negotiation before we were finally placed on the next bus – very poorly organized. Once on board, the driver’s behavior was extremely unprofessional. After only 5 minutes of quiet conversation, he suddenly turned the lights back on, told us to “close your mouth,” and disturbed the entire bus although no one was bothered. He even mocked one of my friends when she coughed. Meanwhile, Thai passengers were talking loudly on the phone or even watching TikTok with sound, and he said nothing to them. It felt discriminatory and very unpleasant. He also made a stop to buy food and use the restroom without letting anyone else off the bus. With countless stops and traffic, the trip took over 4 hours instead of 3. Overall, this was a very badly managed, uncomfortable, and disrespectful experience. I would not recommend this service to anyone.
