Siem Reap Giant Ibis to Phnom Penh Giant Ibis Destination Reviews

I don't usually leave negative reviews, but this time I think it's necessary. If you can avoid this company, do so. I bought my Siem Reap to Phnom Penh ticket through 12Go for the 7:00 a.m. bus. After only 1 hour and 30 minutes, the bus stopped, and we were left waiting for over two hours without any explanation. The most frustrating part was the complete lack of communication. It wasn't about the language—even using a translation app, the driver could have simply told us, "The bus has broken down. We're waiting for another bus." Instead, everyone was left anxious and confused for more than two hours. Eventually, another bus arrived, but it was already completely full. It honestly gave the impression that they didn't want to run the 7:00 a.m. bus with only five passengers and instead combined us with the 9:00 a.m. bus. I can't say for certain that this is what happened, but that's exactly how it felt. This was a terrible experience due to the lack of communication, poor organization, and complete disregard for the passengers' time. I would not recommend this service.

Giant Ibis is definitely one of the best transportation companies in the region. Everything was well organized, and the schedules were very punctual, which made traveling completely stress-free. The seats were comfortable, making the journey enjoyable even on longer trips, and the staff was professional and helpful throughout. On top of that, the ticket prices are very reasonable for the quality of service they provide. If you’re traveling in Cambodia or going to neighboring countries, I highly recommend Giant Ibis. I would definitely choose them again for my future trips.Giant Ibis are the best

Great all round. Comfy seats, careful driver and very friendly staff member who kept us informed throughout the journey. Rest breaks were in clean places and we had no issues. Wish I’d worn a jacket though as the air con was fierce and towards the end it was really cold on there. Arrived a little later but due to poor weather and traffic. All good.
