Purchased two tickets together with my friend, I received the ticket while my friend did not, therefore we could not board the boat from Samui to Koh Tao. I find it quite unacceptable that we both received receipts that our booking was confirmed and the payment went through, however only one of us received a ticket with a QR code which was not enough to board the ferry according to Songserm employees. Furthermore, we were provided zero guidance and were told to go to Koh Phangan and “hope” to find a ferry there. I find this absolutely ridiculous and request immediate refund of my ticket.

It was a good trip with friendly staff. Unfortunately, you had to pay 100 baht for the more comfortable seats on the upper deck.

Slower than expected, but got me there in good time. There was 3 stops along the way to Koh Tao so the boat filled up fast. Take note that if your bag is laid at the bottom (at the beginning of the journey) then most likely it will have lots of bags on top of it, and will take time to collect once you reach your destination. The staff were great! Very friendly, and we arrived 13th April on SONGKRAN! Everyone in a good mood and on arriving we got white clay put on our cheeks to celebrate the new year. Overall a pleasant journey. I’d advise not to go if you are hungover lol

The boat ride was very comfortable and on time! It didn't shake at all, but be aware that it is all related to the weather. In general, very comfy journey! Don't forget to arrive at the pier 1 hour earlier to check in.

Really comfortable. I usually get travel sickness, but was absolutely fine. Try sitting as high as possible inside - this helps. Also make sure to check the order the ferry goes in to each island, so you don’t end up going back on yourself etc
