Julia CEverything went well. You arrive at the harbour and they tell you which pier you should wait at, but once you’re there, you don’t know which boat is yours. About 15 minutes before departure, they arrive and let you know, but you have to stay attentive.

Kane MArrival time was quoted at 9.30 but arrived at 10.30 which could prove problematic when arriving to a transfer. The actual ferry crossing was fine but the terminal is dirty and smelly, the toilets were frankly disgusting and don't have toilet paper! Quite honestly if a small amount of investment in cleaning and a lick of paint was implemented this be a far better experience. The amount of foot traffic going through this terminal would likely mean 50 bath a person could bring all of this up to date rather than sheer profit! Ferry is generally old but still comfortable and smooth journey and checking in was a breeze (just bring loo roll)

Linda We had an earlier ferry from Suratthani to Koh Phangan and left 2 hours for delays, but the earlier ferry arrived more than 2 hours late, so we missed the ferry from Koh Phangan to Koh Tao on the 29th and had to rebook for the 30th.
