For the boat, 4 stars, for the minibus, 1 star. The boat is old and not super clean, but it’s a comfortable ride to Donsak pier because the boat is so big. No effect from the waves. However, our taxi driver drove very aggressively and many people were holding on for dear life after he narrowly avoided crashing into another car at pretty high speed and then continued to drive aggressively.
Ferry was great, lovely food shop onboard, got picked up at ferry port straight away, coach driver was very helpful and arrived at airport with plenty of time to spare , would highly recommend
Really straightforward. There are lots of people waiting at ferry Terminal who will make sure you get on the right bus / ferry. When you get off the ferry just walk to the car park and there someone will make sure you get on the right van.
Everything was on time, I even arrived 4 minutes early to the airport :) after getting out of the ferry in Don Sak, the staff was pointing us the way directly to the airport shuttle, so everything was easy to follow.
Both, the ferry and the bus were on time and everything was fine. It's a huge ferry with vehicles. We should be arriving at the airport at 10 a.m. but we were there 15 mins earlier. Our flight was at 1:20 p.m. and we had lots of time before boarding.
