For the boat, 4 stars, for the minibus, 1 star. The boat is old and not super clean, but it’s a comfortable ride to Donsak pier because the boat is so big. No effect from the waves. However, our taxi driver drove very aggressively and many people were holding on for dear life after he narrowly avoided crashing into another car at pretty high speed and then continued to drive aggressively.
Ferry was great, lovely food shop onboard, got picked up at ferry port straight away, coach driver was very helpful and arrived at airport with plenty of time to spare , would highly recommend
Really straightforward. There are lots of people waiting at ferry Terminal who will make sure you get on the right bus / ferry. When you get off the ferry just walk to the car park and there someone will make sure you get on the right van.
The ferry was much better than usual, only thing I didnt like is that the bus made a stop to Surat Thani city, we were at the airport at the scheduled time but without that we would be at the airport 40 minutes earlier.
The ferry was turned back, losing 40 minutes for me alone because I overslept the stop and would have been late for the plane. Respect to the captain and the company.
It went really smoothly, fast and well organized. We arrived on time (I think even earlier). There's always people around to five you information. Really good.
