Wir sind von Koh Phangan nach Phuket mit Fähre und Bus gereist. Hat alles gut funktioniert. Wir kamen zwar 1 Stunde später an, das war aber dem Verkehr geschuldet.
Though the ferry was good, the bus was ver very bad, actually they had a tieup with a local bus operator, from the pier to the surat thani we were crammed inside a mini van, from surat thani to phuket we had a local bus which had non reclining straight seats. The driver was also doing parcel and people pickups and drops all throughout the way. Would avoid booking with Raja ferry againz

Am Donsak Pier angekommen ging es relativ zügig mit dem Bus weiter nach Phuket. Der Bus war voll besetzt, für manche war es etwas warm.
Nach einer halben Stunde machten wir ca. 20 min Pause an einer verhältnismäßig teuren Raststätte. Danach fuhren wir ungefähr 1,5 h bis wir wieder 20 min Pause an einer relativ teuren Raststätte machten. Danach fuhren wir bis Phuket durch. Wir kamen ca. 1 bis 1,5 h später an. Den Rezessionen nach war uns das aber klar, deswegen war das für uns auch nicht weiter schlimm.
Alles in allem war es okay, es dauert halt einfach (tendenziell auch länger als angegeben). Wenn man sich aber genug zum Essen und Trinken einpackt ist es kein Problem.
Very little air on and cramped. Every seat filled and everyone has huge luggage. At the front the trip was fine but at the back every bump made you actually fly off your seat
Der Transfer hat super funktioniert. Wir sind zwar eine halbe Stunde später am Ziel gewesen, aber das war für uns nicht weiter schlimm. Man sollte aber bedenken, dass man nicht direkt in der Stadt, sondern an Lompraya Office oder am Flughafen rausgelassen wird.
Nowhere did it say we will stop in Khao Sok to drop people off and pick more people up. Adding an extra 2 hours to the trip. My Airbnb host was very upset that I was so late and almost did not let me in for the night. Also, I have back problems and the extra time sitting was VERY BAD!
