Organisation und Ablauf waren prima. Allerdings war der klapprige Minivan mit Gepäck und Fahrgästen überfüllt und die 1,5 stündige Fahrt zur Fähre sehr ungemütlich. Die Fähre war ziemlich alt und schäbig.
Coach to the pier was pretty empty. Had AC and was comfortable. Driving was smooth.
Didn’t have to wait long for the ferry (5 minutes). Ferry was small, but smooth (much better than the last 2 boats I took in this area!). AC inside and 2 window seats for myself.
Only downside was that stopping at Koh Samui put us behind schedule according to the PDF.
Overall a good experience, everything was on time. I would just not recommend the raja ferry, if you have lots of luggage and can't handle to carry it yourself up some steep stairs. Also the ferry is quite huge (good for the ones with sea sickness), but it produces lots of black smoke, which is most likely a health hazard. Also I had black soot all over my clothes and bags after the arrival on koh phangan.
Der Transfer hat super geklappt. Wir waren etwas früher am Flughafen und konnten daher schon mit einem früheren Bus zum Anleger fahren. Vielleicht wäre es sonst zur Fähre auch etwas knapp geworden. Wir haben dann noch am Hafen gewartet, bis die Fähre kam. Hat aber alles super geklappt!
