The bus relatively comfy, not over booked which we had heard stories about. Some smelly feet near me which wasn’t pleasant. Travelled on some of the scariest roads I’ve ever experienced whilst on a bus. Several what felt like near death experiences but if it’s the only way to dalat then can’t complain too much. Pot holes galore leaving Chronic back pain, was very pleased to get off as soon as possible.
There is no toilet on the bus so it would be helpful if the driver would announce toilet breaks. There were two or three breaks but they weren't announced so we didn't know if we were just stopping to pick up people or if we could leave the bus to go to the bathroom
Also, the seats are too small for westerners
Took a lot longer than expected as the bus stopped so many times. The bus was pretty old and was not very comfy. There are no USB ports to charge your phone.
The bus came rather late, then spent 40 minutes driving around town to pick up other people and packages from locals from various other spots - some of which were much closer to our hotel - from which we had to take a taxi to the pickup point they asked us to be at. At the pick up point was nothing not even a pave walk - we had to wait on the street in the sun. Eventually one hour later we drove back to the pick up point where we were initially picked up to start the journey. The sleeping seats were not too uncomfortable - however in most of them the sit up mechanism was broken so lying down was the only option. Unless you were above 1,70m because then the seats were to short /small to lie down - but you couldn't really sit either because the backrests weren't working and the space was not high enough for you to sit. In this rather uncomfortable position you needed to endure a 4,5 hour drive over bad roads. Roads are shitty around here on a regular bases but I am sure a normal bus with seats would have given us a much less stressful ride.
