GALA Yuzawa with JR EAST PASS(Nagano, Niigata area)
- Operating period: December 13, 2025, to May 6, 2026
- The ski area will open on Saturday, December 20. Skiing and snowboarding will be permitted from that date.
Restrictions
- Anyone who possesses a valid passport issued by a country other than Japan at the time of purchase, exchange, and during the period of use.
- The determination of whether a person is an adult or child is based on the age when the pass is purchased. Please check the person's age with the passport or an official document.
- Children under the age of 5 need to purchase a children's pass if they need to reserve a seat.
The voucher expiration dates:
GALA Yuzawa: The voucher is only valid on the day of participation.
JR EAST PASS: There are two validity periods to consider:
- The E-Ticket can be exchanged for a “JR EAST PASS” up to 3 months from the issue date.
- The "JR EAST PASS" is valid for five consecutive days from the start date of use after redemption.
- Please specify a start date within one month when exchanging the voucher at a designated location in Japan.

Please make sure that the name entered at the time of booking and the name on the customer's passport are the same. If they do not
match each other, JR EAST PASS cannot be exchanged at the designated location in Japan. Please check the name and spelling again.

Notes
- The pass cannot be used on lines other than those listed above under "Lines available" and "Lines partially available".
- Pass holders using Gran Class, Green cars, and sleeper trains are requested to purchase Super (Limited) Express Reserved Seat Tickets in advance for each ride.
- JR EAST PASS only covers the basic fare part of the ticket.
- GALA Yuzawa Station on the Joetsu Shinkansen line can only be used when GALA Yuzawa Snow Resort is open.
Purchase locations
1. Seat reservations will be possible at the JR EAST Reserved Seat Ticket Vending Machines. *Some rail passes issued at certain ticket offices will not support this service.
2. The reserved seat tickets are issued at "JR EAST Travel Service Center" and "JR EAST Ticket offices".

Reserved Seat Tickets cannot be issued at JR Central, Tokyo Metro, Odakyu Electric Railway, Keisei Electric Railway, or any other railway company's ticket office.

Access:
- Get off at GALA Yuzawa Station on the Joetsu Shinkansen. If you are coming by Shinkansen, please take the Tanigawa Train which will stop at GALA Yuzawa Station. It is very convenient to get to the destination, since the station ticket gate and the ski center are directly connected.
