Surat Thani Train Station to Bangkok Destination Reviews

CF
I took a bus, the ride was horrible, but also just passed our drop-off station and kept driving. We realized too late because the bus was 1h early because of driving so fast. In the end we had to take a really expensive taxi to drive 40 minutes back to the drop of. I texted the support but got no refund or anything else.

I booked for my husband and I to share a 1st class cabin, one upper, one lower. When I was assigned tickets we were both lower, in seperate cabins! I couldn't change them through 12go ,but, luckily, by getting to the station 4. (!) hours early, the amazing station staff changed seats for me. I will be avoiding 12go as much as I can from now on

The locomotive was broken down, no concrete information until after estimated departure rime. The train left 30min late and arrived 1.5h too late. We had separate bunk beds even though some beds were unused all night long. The toilets were more dirty than all bus toilets we have used.
