Manila to La Union Destination Reviews

The bus is marked as luxury, however the bus company put passengers into the center aisle for extra seats. In other countries like Thailand and Viet Nam this is not happening. I found this greedy on behalf of the the bus company.

My card was charged in Euros instead of peso. No option to choose exact city to drop off instead of point to point. No toilet on the bus which was different from what I have booked.

The ride was comfortable, air-conditioned, and reasonably priced. However, the bus only stopped at the La Union terminal instead of the San Juan stop we paid for. We were told to wait for another bus, which took around 40 minutes to arrive. The second driver was hesitant to let us board, and we had to stand for 10 more minutes until we finally reached San Juan. It felt like they decided not to drive us to our destination just because there were only a few of us. Overall, the service was fine but the transfer situation was inconvenient and disappointing.

Remove the Luxury Bus label! Parang ordinary bus ride lang. Always stopping for extra passengers kahit standing capacity. Budol and misleading ang Luxury bus kuno. Dotr should look into this.

My recent experience with your service was quite frustrating due to a series of miscommunications and unexpected costs. Initially, I unfortunately overlooked my schedule and missed my original bus, which I did online (paying ₱2,100 total for two, when the original base fare was supposedly ₱1,700). I was informed I could rebook by paying an additional 10% of my fare for a rebooking which I paid at the station. However, upon arriving at the station for my rebooked trip, I was left by the bus "again". This was due to a misunderstanding on my part regarding boarding procedures—I mistakenly thought anyone could simply board the waiting bus to La Union without specific instructions. Thankfully, a guard was helpful in guiding me to the correct process to secure a spot on the next available bus. Once I was finally on board, I was told I needed to pay an *additional* amount for a 'premium' seat, as my ticket was only for a 'regular' one. This was surprising and added further to the cost. Considering the initial online payment of ₱2,100, the 10% rebooking fee, and then the extra payment for the seat on the bus, the total amount I ended up paying was significantly higher than what a direct purchase at the Partas station for two tickets would have cost. Had I known, buying directly at the station would have been far more economical and likely less stressful. While some staff were helpful, the overall confusion and unexpected additional charges made for a very inconvenient and costly trip.
